A24 Releases New Trailer for Benny Safdie’s THE SMASHING MACHINE

A24 has released a new trailer for their upcoming sports biopic THE SMASHING MACHINE, which will launch in US theaters on October 3rd, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival, check out the first reactions here.
The Smashing Machine is written, directed, co-produced, and co-edited by Benny Safdie. It stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Lyndsey Gavin, Oleksandr Usyk, Bas Rutten, Ryan Bader, Satoshi Ishii, James Moontasri, and Yoko Hamamura.
In the film, MMA fighter Mark Kerr struggles with addiction, winning and love during his peak era in the UFC.
