Angel Studios’ THE LAST RODEO Sets Digital Streaming Release Date

Angel Studios is set to release their Western drama THE LAST RODEO on VOD and digital platforms next month, arriving on July 15th, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on May 23rd, 2025, and has earned nearly $15M at the domestic box-office.

Please note: Angel Studios’ last PVOD release, THE KING OF KINGS, was exclusive to Apple and Fandango at Home. This title is currently only available for pre-order on Apple, so we’ll report on release day which digital retailers are offering it.

The Last Rodeo is written and directed by Jon Avnet, and stars Neal McDonough (who is also a co-writer and producer), Mykelti Williamson, Christopher McDonald, Sarah Jones, and Daylon Swearengen.

In the film, a retired rodeo legend risks it all to save his grandson. Facing his own painful past and the fears of his family, he enters a high-stakes bull-riding competition as the oldest contestant ever. Along the way, he reconciles old wounds with his estranged daughter and proves that true courage is found in the fight for family.
