Blumhouse Thriller DROP Gets Peacock Streaming Premiere Date

The thriller DROP is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Peacock on July 11th, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s SXSW Festival before launching in US theaters on April 11th, 2025. It hit PVOD on April 29th.

Drop is directed by Christopher Landon and written by Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach. It stars Meghann Fahy, Brandon Sklenar, Violett Beane, and Jeffery Self.

In the film, Violet, a widowed mother on her first date in years, arrives at an upscale restaurant where she is relieved that her date, Henry, is more charming and handsome than she expected. But their chemistry begins to curdle as Violet begins being irritated and then terrorized by a series of anonymous drops to her phone.
