F1 THE MOVIE Digital Streaming Release Date Revealed

According to our sources Apple Studios is expected to release their action drama F1 THE MOVIE on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on August 22nd, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on June 27th, 2025.

F1 the Movie is directed and co-written (with Ehren Kruger) by Joseph Kosinski and stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem.

In the film, Sonny Hayes (Pitt), a Formula One driver who raced in the 1990s, has a horrible crash, forcing him to retire from Formula One and start racing in other disciplines. A Formula One team owner and friend, Ruben (Bardem), contacts Hayes and asks him to come out of retirement to mentor rookie prodigy Joshua "Noah" Pearce (Idris) for the Apex Grand Prix team.
