FREAKIER FRIDAY Gets Disney+ Streaming Premiere Date

The sequel FREAKIER FRIDAY is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Disney+ on November 12th, 2025. The film debuted in US theaters on August 8th, 2025, and hit PVOD on October 7th.
Freakier Friday is directed by Nisha Ganatra and written by Jordan Weiss, and is a sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday, itself based on Mary Rodgers's 1972 novel, and the seventh overall film in the franchise. Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Ryan Malgarini, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Stephen Tobolowsky, Lucille Soong and Rosalind Chao reprise their respective roles from the original film, with Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto and Sophia Hammons joining the cast.
In the film, years after Tess and Anna endured an identity crisis, Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover lightning might indeed strike twice.
