Hit Indie Documentary SECRET MALL APARTMENT Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

The hit indie documentary SECRET MALL APARTMENT is set to hit VOD and digital platforms later this summer, arriving on September 16th, 2025. The film world premiered at the 2024 SXSW Festival and launched in US theaters on March 21st, 2025.
Secret Mall Apartment is directed by Jeremy Workman, and co-produced by Workman and Jesse Eisenberg. The film marks the second collaboration between Workman and Eisenberg, who previously produced Workman's 2018 documentary The World Before Your Feet.
The film tells the true story of eight Rhode Islanders who built and lived in a secret apartment inside a local mall from 2003 to 2007. Far more than a prank, the secret apartment became a deeply meaningful place for all involved.
To date, the film has grossed more than $844k at the domestic box-office.
