International Feature Oscar Nominee PERFECT DAYS Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

NEON is expected to release the Oscar-nominated Japanese drama PERFECT DAYS on VOD and digital platforms next month, arriving on March 5th, 2024. The film world premiered at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where it won star Koji Yakusho the Best Actor Prize. It debuted in US theaters in limited release on February 7th, 2024.
Perfect Days was directed by Wim Wenders, from a script written by Wenders and Takuma Takasaki. In the film, Yakusho plays Hirayama, who is content with his life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Outside of his structured routine, he cherishes music on cassette tapes, books, and taking photos of trees. Through unexpected encounters, he reflects on finding beauty in the world. It is Oscar-nominated for Best International Feature.
