Matt Tyrnauer’s Food Documentary NOBU Gets Official Trailer, Digital Streaming Release Date

Vertical Entertainment has unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming culinary documentary NOBU, which will launch in US theaters in limited release on June 27th, 2025, before expanding nationwide on July 2nd. It will then be available on VOD and digital platforms on July 11th, 2025.

Nobu is directed by Matt Tyrnauer and features Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper. The film world premiered at the 2024 Telluride Film Festival.

The film examines culinary legend Nobuyuki Matsuhisa's empire, offering an intimate portrait of a man who has redefined global gastronomy alongside his business partners Robert De Niro and Meir Teper.
