MEG 2: THE TRENCH Sets Streaming Premiere Date on Max

Warner Bros has announced their late-summer shark thriller MEG 2: THE TRENCH will make its SVOD debut on September 29th, 2023, when it will premiere on Max. The film launched in US theaters on August 4th, before hitting PVOD on August 25th.

Meg 2: The Trench performed adequately stateside, earning $81M. But its real money was made overseas (especially China), where it grossed $309M. With those numbers, expect a Meg 3 in the no-so-distant future.
