MGM+ Sets SVOD Premiere Date for Comedy BOTTOMS

The summer comedy BOTTOMS is set to make its SVOD debut, premiering on MGM+ on November 27th, 2023. The film world premiered at this year’s South by Southwest and launched in US theaters on August 25th.

Bottoms was directed by Emma Seligman, from a screenplay she co-wrote with Rachel Sennott. The film stars Sennott, Ayo Edebiri, Ruby Cruz (in her feature film debut), Havana Rose Liu, Kaia Gerber, Nicholas Galitzine, Miles Fowler, Dagmara Dominczyk, and Marshawn Lynch. It follows two high school senior girls who set up a fight club as a way to hook up with cheerleaders.

It’s worth noting that the film could be made available to Amazon’s Prime Video subscribers before its MGM+ premiere. It was not included in Prime Video’s November 2023 preview, but MGM titles have sometimes popped up unannounced. If that’s the case, we’ll adjust the calendar to reflect its new SVOD premiere date.
