Netflix Unveils Teaser Trailer for PEOPLE WE MEET ON VACATION

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming romantic comedy PEOPLE WE MEET ON VACATION, which will launch on their platform on January 9th, 2026.

People We Meet on Vacation is directed by Brett Haley, and is based on the 2021 novel of the same name by Emily Henry. It stars Emily Bader, Tom Blyth, Lukas Gage, Jameela Jamil, Alan Ruck, and Molly Shannon.

In the film, free-spirited Poppy and routine-loving Alex, who have been unlikely best friends for a decade, lives in different cities but spends every summer vacation together. The careful balance of their friendship is put to the test when they begin to question what has been obvious to everyone else—could they actually be the perfect romantic match?
