Nicolas Cage’s THE SURFER Digital Streaming Release Date Revealed

According to our sources, Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate are expected to release the Nicolas Cage psychological thriller THE SURFER on VOD and digital platforms early next month, arriving on June 6th, 2025. The film world premiered in the Midnight Screenings section at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and opened in US theaters on May 2nd, 2025.

The Surfer is directed by Lorcan Finnegan, written by Thomas Martin, and stars Nicolas Cage, Julian McMahon, Finn Little, Nic Cassim, Alexander Bertrand, Rahel Romahn, Miranda Tapsell, Justin Rosniak, and Charlotte Maggi.
In the film, a man returns to the idyllic beach of his childhood to surf with his son. When he is humiliated by a group of locals, the man is drawn into a conflict that keeps rising and pushes him to his breaking point.
