Orlando Bloom Boxing Drama THE CUT Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

Paramount is set to release their boxing drama THE CUT on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on September 30th, 2025. The film world premiered at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival before launching in US theaters in limited release on September 5th, 2025.

The Cut is directed by Sean Ellis and written by Justing Bull, from a story by Mark Lane. It stars Orlando Bloom, Caitríona Balfe, and John Turturro.

In the film, a retired boxer intends to return to the ring for one last shot at the title, but first he must make the weight. Holed up in a room in Las Vegas with an unscrupulous trainer, he embarks on an intensive and illegal weight-cutting program.
