Paramount Unveils Teaser Trailer, Poster for THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SEARCH FOR SQUAREPANTS

Paramount Pictures has released the first teaser trailer and poster for their upcoming animated adventure THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SEARCH FOR SQUAREPANTS, which will launch in US theaters on December 19th, 2025.

The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants is based on the SpongeBob SquarePants television series, created by Stephen Hillenburg. The film is directed by series veteran Derek Drymon and stars the show's regular voice cast alongside Mark Hamill, Regina Hall, Sherry Cola, Arturo Castro, George Lopez, and Ice Spice.

SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends set sail in their biggest, all-new, can’t miss cinematic event ever. Desperate to be a big guy, SpongeBob sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following The Flying Dutchman – a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate – on a seafaring comedy-adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea, where no Sponge has gone before.
