Sound of Freedom Digital Release Date Set

The independent sensation of the summer, SOUND OF FREEDOM, will be available for sale on digital platforms on September 15th, 2023. The film premiered in theaters on July 4th, and has grossed an incredible $177M at the US box-office.

It has, of course, been a controversy magnet. But there’s no denying its successful pay-it-forward model has raised eyebrows. Could this technique be replicated by other independent films? Could the studios somehow adapt it for their films? It remains to be seen if this is a one-off, or if this is a breakthrough.
