THE ACCOUNTANT 2 Gets Digital Retail Streaming Premiere Date

Amazon MGM Studios action sequel THE ACCOUNTANT 2 is set to make its digital retail debut this week, arriving on digital platforms on August 5th, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s SXSW Festival and launched in US theaters on April 25th, 2025. It debuted on Prime Video on June 5th, 2025, and will continue to be available to stream on that platform.
The Accountant 2 is directed by Gavin O’Connor and stars Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Daniella Pineda, Allison Robertson and J.K. Simmons.
In the film, Christian Wolff is brought out of hiding by Treasury Agent Marybeth Medina after someone close to them is killed by unknown assassins. To solve the murder, Wolff must recruit the help of his estranged but highly lethal brother Brax.
