Wes Anderson’s THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME Digital Streaming Release Date Revealed

According to our sources, Focus Features is expected to release their Wes Anderson comedy THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on July 8th, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and launched in US theaters on May 30th, 2025.

The Phoenician Scheme is directed by Wes Anderson from a script he wrote with Roman Coppola. The film features an ensemble cast including Benicio del Toro, Mia Threapleton, Michael Cera, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Riz Ahmed, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Rupert Friend, Hope Davis, Imad Mardnli and Benedict Cumberbatch.
In the film, wealthy businessman Zsa-zsa Korda (del Toro) appoints his only daughter (Threapleton), a nun, as sole heir to his estate. As Korda embarks on a new enterprise, they soon become the target of scheming tycoons, foreign terrorists, and determined assassins.
