Ari Aster’s EDDINGTON Gets HBO Max Streaming Premiere Date

The A24 black comedy EDDINGTON is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on HBO Max on November 14th, 2025. The film world premiered in competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and launched in US theaters on July 18th, 2025. It hit PVOD on August 12th, 2025.

Additionally, the film will debut on HBO linear on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15th at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Eddington is written and directed by Ari Aster, and starring Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O'Connell, Micheal Ward, Austin Butler, and Emma Stone.

In the film, in May of 2020, a standoff between a small-town sheriff and mayor sparks a powder keg as neighbor is pitted against neighbor in Eddington, New Mexico.
