Doug Liman’s THE INSTIGATORS Gets Digital Retail Streaming Premiere Date

The Apple Studios heist thriller THE INSTIGATORS is set to make its digital retail debut early next month, arriving on for sale on digital platforms on July 1st, 2025. The film had a limited theatrical release on August 2nd, 2024, before launching on Apple TV+ on August 9th. It will continue to be available on that platform.
The Instigators is directed by Doug Liman, written by Chuck Maclean and Casey Affleck, and stars Affleck and Matt Damon, who also produces the film alongside Ben Affleck under their production company Artists Equity.
In the film, Rory and Cobby are unlikely partners: a desperate father and an ex-con thrown together for a heist. When it goes awry, they team up with an unusual accomplice—Rory’s therapist—to outrun police, backward bureaucrats, and a vengeful crime boss.
