Guillermo del Toro’s FRANKENSTEIN Gets Netflix Streaming Premiere Date

Netflix has set a streaming premiere date for their upcoming horror thriller FRANKENSTEIN, which will launch on their platform in November 7th, 2025. The film will world premiere at the upcoming Venice Film Festival and debut in select theaters on October 17th, 2025.

Frankenstein is written and directed by Guillermo del Toro, based on Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. The film stars Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, Charles Dance, and Christoph Waltz.

In the film, Dr. Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist, brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.
