Kristin Scott Thomas’ MY MOTHER’S WEDDING Gets Official Trailer, Poster, Theatrical Release Date

Vertical Entertainment has unveiled the official trailer and poster for their upcoming comedy drama MY MOTHER’S WEDDING, which will launch in US theaters on August 8th, 2025. The film world premiered at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival.

My Mother’s Wedding is directed by Kristin Scott Thomas and co-written by Scott Thomas and John Micklethwait. It stars Scott Thomas, along with Scarlett Johansson, Freida Pinto, Sienna Miller, and Emily Beecham.

In this heartfelt and funny story, three sisters (Johansson, Miller, Beecham) return to their childhood home for a momentous occasion: the third wedding of their twice-widowed mother (Scott Thomas). Over the weekend, the family gathers to celebrate the new marriage, but mother and daughters alike are forced to revisit the past and confront the future, all with help from a colorful group of unexpected wedding guests.
