NEON Unveils Official Trailer for Michael Angelo Covino’s SPLITSVILLE

NEON has released the official trailer for their upcoming comedy SPLITSVILLE, which will launch in US theaters in limited release on August 22nd, 2025, before expanding nationwide on September 5th. The film world premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Splitsville is directed by Michael Angelo Covino, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Kyle Marvin. The stars Dakota Johnson (who is also a producer on the film), Adria Arjona, Marvin, Covino, Nicholas Braun, David Castañeda, and O-T Fagbenle.

In the film, after Ashley (Adria Arjona) asks for a divorce, good-natured Carey (Kyle Marvin) runs to his friends, Julie (Dakota Johnson) and Paul (Michael Angelo Covino), for support. He's shocked to discover that the secret to their happiness is an open marriage, that is until Carey crosses the line and throws all of their relationships into chaos.
