Netflix Releases Trailer, Poster, Sets Streaming Premiere Date for Romance RUTH & BOAZ

Netflix has dropped the official trailer and poster for their upcoming romance RUTH & BOAZ, which will begin streaming on their platform on September 26th, 2025.

Directed by Alanna Brown (Trees of Peace) and written by Michael Elliot (Brown Sugar) and Cory Tynan (Play’d), Ruth & Boaz is part of Franklin and Tyler Perry Studios’ creative partnership with Netflix, in which they’ll produce faith-based films under a multi-year and multi-picture first-look deal. It stars Serayah McNeill, Tyler Lepley and Phylicia Rashad.

In the film, a talented singer leaves the Atlanta music scene and starts over in small-town Tennessee, where she finds love and new purpose but can't escape the past.
