Netflix Sets Streaming Premiere Date for Matt Damon - Ben Affleck Crime Thriller THE RIP

As part of their TUDUM event in Los Angeles, Netflix has announced the premiere date for their crime thriller THE RIP, which will begin streaming on the platform on January 16th, 2026.

The Rip is written and directed by Joe Carnahan, and stars Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, Nestor Carbonell, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Kyle Chandler, Scott Adkins, and Lina Esco.

In the film, trust among a group of Miami cops begins to fray upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question — including who they can rely on.
