Paramount Unveils Trailer, Sets Digital Streaming Release Date for Max Minghella’s SHELL

Paramount has released the official trailer for their dark comedy horror thriller SHELL, which will launch on VOD and digital platforms on October 3rd, 2025. The film world premiered at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival and will have a limited theatrical release day-and-date with its digital launch.

Shell is directed by Max Minghella, written by Jack Stanley, and stars Elisabeth Moss, Kate Hudson, Kaia Gerber and Elizabeth Berkley.

In the film, desperate to reclaim her career, once-beloved actress Samantha Lake (Elisabeth Moss) is drawn into the glamorous world of wellness mogul Zoe Shannon (Kate Hudson)—only to uncover a monstrous truth beneath its flawless surface.
