Pixar’s ELIO Gets Disney+ Streaming Premiere Date

The Pixar animated adventure ELIO is set to make its SVOD debut later this month, arriving on Disney+ on September 17th, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on June 20th, 2025, and hit PVOD on August 19th.

Elio is directed by Madeline Sharafian and Domee Shi, and stars the voices of Yonas Kibreab, Jameela Jamil, Brad Garrett, Zoe Saldaña, Remy Edgerly, and Shirley Henderson.

In the film, Elio, a space fanatic with an active imagination, finds himself on a cosmic misadventure where he must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms, navigate a crisis of intergalactic proportions and somehow discover who he is truly meant to be.
