Searchlight Pictures’ THE ROSES Gets Hulu Streaming Premiere Date

The Searchlight Pictures comedy THE ROSES is set to make its SVOD debut next month, arriving on Hulu on November 20th, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on August 29th, 2025, and hit PVOD on October 21st.
The Roses is directed by Jay Roach and written by Tony McNamara. The film is based on the 1981 novel The War of the Roses by Warren Adler, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman, Andy Samberg, Allison Janney, Ncuti Gatwa, Jamie Demetriou, Zoë Chao, Belinda Bromilow, and Kate McKinnon.
In the film, Ivy and Theo, the picture-perfect couple who have successful careers, great kids, and an enviable sex life. But underneath the façade of the perfect family is a tinderbox of competition and resentments that’s ignited when Theo’s professional dreams come crashing down.
