Rami Malek’s THE AMATEUR Gets Digital Streaming Release Date, Sets 4K Blu-ray Launch

20th Century Studios is set to release their spy thriller THE AMATEUR on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on June 10th, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on April 11th, 2025.

In addition, the studio will release the 4K UHD and Blu-ray beginning July 8th, 2025.

The Amateur is directed by James Hawes and written by Ken Nolan and Gary Spinelli, based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Robert Littell. It stars Rami Malek, Rachel Brosnahan, Caitríona Balfe, Adrian Martinez, Laurence Fishburne, Holt McCallany and Julianne Nicholson.

Charlie Heller (Malek) is a brilliant, but deeply introverted decoder for the CIA working out of a basement office at headquarters in Langley whose life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a London terrorist attack. When his supervisors refuse to take action, he takes matters into his own hands, embarking on a dangerous trek across the globe to track down those responsible, his intelligence serving as the ultimate weapon for eluding his pursuers and achieving his revenge.
