Sony Pictures Classics’ EAST OF WALL Gets Digital Streaming Release Date

Sony Pictures Classics is set to release their Western drama EAST OF WALL on VOD and digital platforms this week, arriving tomorrow, October 7th, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award in the NEXT program, before launching in US theaters on August 15th, 2025.

East of Wall is written and directed by Kate Beecroft, in her directorial debut. It stars Tabatha Zimiga, Porshia Zimiga, Scoot McNairy and Jennifer Ehle.

In the film, after the death of her husband, Tabatha — a young, tattooed, rebellious horse trainer — wrestles with financial insecurity and unresolved grief while providing refuge for a group of wayward teenagers on her broken-down ranch in the Badlands.
