Welcome to When To Stream’s monthly preview! We’re here to give you an overview of the top streaming titles (including PVOD, Digital, and SVOD) expected in November 2025, and also give a glimpse at the films we expect to launch this month, but have not yet been announced.

THE CUT (Paramount+)
Synopsis: A retired boxer intends to return to the ring for one last shot at the title, but first he must make the weight. Holed up in a room in Las Vegas with an unscrupulous trainer, he embarks on an intensive and illegal weight-cutting program.
THE HISTORY OF SOUND (MUBI, Digital)
Synopsis: Two young music students, Lionel and David, attending the Boston Conservatory in 1917, bond over their shared love of folk music. They reconnect a few years later, embarking on a song collecting trip in the backwaters of Maine.

Synopsis: Four years after escaping The Grabber, Finney Blake is struggling with his life after captivity. THE SMASHING MACHINE (PVOD)
Synopsis: MMA fighter Mark Kerr struggles with addiction, winning and love during his peak era in the UFC.
WALTZING WITH BRANDO (VOD/Digital)
Synopsis: The story of how Marlon Brando plucked Bernard Judge, an obscure but idealistic Los Angeles architect from his stable existence and convinced him that he should build the world’s first ecologically perfect retreat on a tiny and uninhabitable Tahitian island.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS (Disney+)
Synopsis: Against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel's First Family is forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, while defending Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer.
TYLER PERRY’S FINDING JOY (Prime Video)
Synopsis: The film follows Shannon Thornton as Joy, a New York fashion designer whose talents are overshadowed by her boss. Just like her career, Joy has been unlucky in love. Encouraged by her steadfast friends Ashley and Littia, Joy follows her crush Colton to Colorado, hoping for holiday magic. Instead, a shocking revelation and a snowstorm leave her stranded. At her lowest, Joy meets Ridge, a chance encounter that transforms her perspective on life and love.

DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE (Peacock)
Synopsis: When Mary finds herself at the center of a public scandal and the family faces financial strife, the entire household grapples with the threat of social disgrace. The Crawleys must embrace change as the staff prepares for a new chapter with the next generation leading Downton Abbey into the future.
FRANKENSTEIN (Netflix)
Synopsis: Dr. Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist, brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.
MATERIALISTS (HBO Max)
Synopsis: A young, ambitious New York City matchmaker finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex.
SOVEREIGN (Hulu)
Synopsis: Struggling single father Jerry indoctrinates his son Joe into the sovereign citizen movement, teaching him that laws are mere illusions and freedom is something you take. But, as Jerry’s ideology consumes them, they are set on a collision course with a police chief who has spent his life upholding the rules that Jerry has spent his tearing down.

DEATHSTALKER (VOD/Digital)
Synopsis: The warrior Deathstalker is tasked by an old witch lady to obtain and unite the three powers of creation – a chalice, an amulet, and a sword – lest the evil magician Munkar get them and use them for nefarious purposes. After obtaining the sword, Deathstalker joins with other travelers going to the Big Tournament to determine the strongest warrior. The false king holds the true princess in captivity, and plots to have Deathstalker killed, and Deathstalker must fight to free the princess.
KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN (VOD/Digital)
Synopsis: Valentín, a political prisoner, shares a cell with Molina, a window dresser convicted of public indecency. The two form an unlikely bond as Molina recounts the plot of a Hollywood musical starring his favorite silver screen diva, Ingrid Luna.
ROOFMAN (PVOD)
Synopsis: Based on an unbelievable true story, Roofman follows Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman. After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys “R” Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move. But when he falls for Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a divorced mom drawn to his undeniable charm, his double life begins to unravel, setting off a compelling and suspenseful game of cat and mouse as his past closes in.

A MERRY LITTLE EX-MAS (Netflix)
Synopsis: A recently separated couple attempts to have one last Christmas with their kids before the wife sells the family home to move and start fresh. But complications arise when the husband brings his amazing new girlfriend into the holiday mix.
PLAYDATE (Prime Video)
Synopsis: When out-of-work accountant Brian joins stay-at-home dad Jeff for a playdate with their sons, he expects a laid-back afternoon. Instead, they're chased by mercenaries, and Brian—totally unprepared—must survive one absurd obstacle after another.
