According to our sources, Paramount+ is expected to premiere the action comedy NOVOCAINE on their streaming platform later this month, arriving on May 13th, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on March 14th, 2025, and hit PVOD on April 8th.

Please note: Paramount+ has neither announced nor confirmed the release date. As always, release dates are subject to change.

Novocaine is directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen and written by Lars Jacobson. It stars Jack Quaid, Amber Midthunder, Ray Nicholson, Betty Gabriel, and Jacob Batalon.

In the film, Nathan Caine was born with the rare disorder CIPA (Congenital Insensitivity to Pain), which means he does not feel physical pain. He grew up a sheltered child, learning to blend his food so he would not unwittingly chew off his own tongue, and he learned to wear a timer to remind himself when to go to the bathroom. But when his bank is robbed and his new love taken hostage, his affliction becomes his greatest strength as he sets out to rescue her.

We’ve added the release date to our Streaming calendar. Buy or rent the film from Amazon below, and check out the official trailer.
