Amazon MGM Studios Sets Digital Retail Streaming Date for Eddie Murphy’s THE PICKUP

Amazon MGM Studios has set a digital retail streaming release date for the action comedy THE PICKUP, which will arrive on digital platforms for sale-only on October 7th, 2025. The film launched on Prime Video on August 6th, 2025, and will continue to be available to stream for Prime subscribers.
The Pickup is produced and directed by Tim Story, written by Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows, and stars Eddie Murphy, Pete Davidson, Eva Longoria, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Jack Kesy, Andrew Dice Clay, Marshawn Lynch, Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i and Keke Palmer.
In the film, a routine cash pickup takes a wild turn when two mismatched armored truck drivers, Russell (Murphy) and Travis (Davidson), are ambushed by ruthless criminals led by a savvy mastermind, Zoe (Palmer), with plans that go way beyond the cash cargo. As chaos unfolds around them, the unlikely duo must navigate high-risk danger, clashing personalities, and one very bad day that keeps getting worse.
