Apple Sets Apple TV Streaming Release Date for F1 THE MOVIE

Apple Studios has announced an SVOD premiere date for their hit Formula One drama F1 THE MOVIE, which will begin streaming on Apple TV on December 12th, 2025. The film launched in US theaters on June 27th, 2025, and hit PVOD on August 22nd, 2025.

F1 the Movie is directed and co-written (with Ehren Kruger) by Joseph Kosinski and stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem.

In the film, Sonny Hayes (Pitt), a Formula One driver who raced in the 1990s, has a horrible crash, forcing him to retire from Formula One and start racing in other disciplines. A Formula One team owner and friend, Ruben (Bardem), contacts Hayes and asks him to come out of retirement to mentor rookie prodigy Joshua "Noah" Pearce (Idris) for the Apex Grand Prix team.
