Daniel Day-Lewis’ ANEMONE Digital Streaming Release Date Revealed

According to our sources, Focus Features is expected to release their psychological drama ANEMONE on VOD and digital platforms later this month, arriving on October 21st, 2025. The film world premiered at this year’s New York Film Festival before launching in US theaters on October 3rd, 2025.

Anemone is directed by Ronan Day-Lewis, in his feature directorial debut, from a screenplay he co-wrote with his father, Daniel Day-Lewis. It stars (the elder) Day-Lewis, Sean Bean, Samuel Bottomley, Safia Oakley-Green, Sid Akba, Lewis Ian Bray, Paul Butterworth, Karl Cam, JP Conway, Angus Cooper, Adam Fogerty, Richard Graham, Mark Holgate, Holly Rhys, Jag Sanghera, Eve Townsend, and Samantha Morton.
The film follows a troubled recluse whose estranged brother arrives to convince him to come home and reunite with his family.
